Yesterday after work, I drove straight to the gym to get my four miles over with. Y’all remember how I almost flipped out the last time someone answered her phone in the movie room? It happened again. Only this time, it was a person who had just decided to get on the treadmill right next to mine. See how empty that room is? Please tell me why she needed me to hear her entire life story. I should have charged a therapist’s fee.
Later on, Ryne and I took Maddux out to eat. We ran into my parents while we were there. I swear to you we don’t stalk them or anything. Check out my kid sitting in a freaking booster seat! Where does the time go? PS: shortly after this photo, he was sent packing. He wasn’t quite ready for that amount of freedom. He’ll be stuck in the highchair a little longer.
Speaking of kids growing up before my eyes, we had our four-year-old kindergarten Christmas program today. I desperately wish I could show y’all how cute they were. You’ll just have to trust me on this. Instead, I’ll show you an un-cute picture of the back of my head and an old TV. Fair?
Tonight I was supposed to run four miles again, but I also wanted to work out with Ryne. I compromised and ran two miles and then did some legs and abs. I know I cheated on my training plan, but I don’t know if I could handle seeing the number 4 again right now. I have one last four mile run on Saturday then I’m deleting that number from my brain entirely.
Since I don’t really have anything to say tonight (and I also just want to sit around and watch a movie), I’ll just share some of my Twitter thoughts with you instead. Totally counts as a blog post, right? Didn’t think so.
Because, why not?
Love my kid:
Sour cream for life!
So did that.
I need to step away from the Twitter. Can you call it the Twitter? Whatever. Anyway, I better put down the computer before I start literally telling you every single thought I have. I’m getting pretty close to that point. Have a great night!
