Wow. I really lost track of time the past two days. I meant to hop on here and share a workout, but that never happened. Then I meant to do it again today, but you guessed it – not going to happen. How about we just skip the workout this week and move straight to Friday Favorites? Sounds good to me.
My First Blazer
Before we get to the blazer, just excuse the fact that I threw it on over a baggy white t-shirt and that I’ve obviously never learned how to stand normally. Since I won’t be around a ton of messy children at my new job, I’m allowing myself to slowly buy some nicer pieces to wear to work. My teacher clothes were straight up embarrassing, but four-year-olds don’t care if you wear sneakers to work. Long story short, ThredUP came to the rescue once again and I scored a black Elie Tahari blazer for less than forty bucks. I can’t find the exact one online anywhere, but this one is similar, and you can see how much more expensive it would be to buy new. Used clothes for life, y’all. I don’t care if it makes me tacky when it means I can still buy groceries afterwards.
I’ve tried a ton of Nuun flavors, but I don’t remember trying the tropical one. How did y’all allow that to happen? It’s delicious and I’ve developed an addiction. I drank a ton of it while working on the house this week, because painting is a work out. I clearly needed all the electrolytes I could get my dirty hands on.
Moving the gym to the garage was easily the best decision I made all week. We have so much more room down there and it makes getting in and out of there much simpler. Before I had to move stuff around constantly. Now I feel like I could have a dance party up in there. That’s very important to me. We still have to organize everything and get it cleaned up, but we’re off to a good start.
Are those short boots? Booties? I don’t know and I don’t care, because I love ’em. The problem is that I can’t decide on a style that I would actually wear often enough to justify purchasing them. I like the look of each of these for different reasons: tan suede, redwood leather, and black stilettos. I know. I’m all over the map. I think I’m leaning toward the middle option, but we’ll see. I need to get my Christmas list together, so I better decide. And by “Christmas list”, I mean the one thing I want from Ryne. I do really miss being a kid and putting about a million things down on paper. That was awesome. They don’t know how good they have it.
Question: Do you own a pair of booties? Do you wear them often? What do you wear them with? How many more questions can I get away with right now? I know nothing. It’s pathetic.
