Good morning! I’m always interested in how other mamas and babies spend their days, but I lack the motivation to track our entire day. I did, however, pay attention to what we did this morning.
7:30- Time to wake up! He usually wakes up around 7, but we’ve been having some fussy evenings and multiple wake ups throughout the night. I was assuming he’d last a little longer this morning, but it’s all a big mystery at this point.
7:45- Maddux has about 5 ounces of whole milk and I have my vitamins.
8:00- I quickly scramble up some eggs, butter some toast, reheat leftover bacon (so gross to me but M is a fan), and slice some grapes. He doesn’t eat as much this morning as he usually does. When I take him out of his highchair, he reaches up on a table and knocks my coffee over. Typical. I clean it up and pour another cup.
8:30- We go upstairs so I can clean up and pretend that I’m still a human. While Maddux destroys my bathroom, I brush my teeth and quickly wipe my face down with these. I just bought them, but I like how quickly I can “clean up” thanks to them being wipes. The jury’s out on whether or not they’re actually worth it.
9:00- We play some more in the living room and I notice a few yawns and ear pulls. Those are his sleepy signs. It’s a bit early for a nap, but I put him in his crib around 9:15 just to check. He passes out immediately! The other day I thought he was transitioning to one nap a day, but teething has totally changed that. He’s napping even more lately, which makes sense because he’s hardly sleeping at night. Poor dude.
9:30- I type up this post and debate on which of these I should tackle first: shower, clean, nap, or workout.
Back to the part of the morning that keeps me healthy and feeling my best. Nope, not the coffee. 😉 When I got the chance to try the Vitafusion MultiVites, I jumped at the chance. Ever since I starting taking prenatals with Maddux, I’ve had a huge aversion to vitamins. I haven’t taken a vitamin since I stopped breastfeeding. It just wasn’t worth the crappy feeling anymore. I really wanted to find a multivitamin that didn’t make me feel like death, and I had all but given up before trying these.
Vitafusion MultiVites are adult gummies, and I think that contributes to the fact that I feel I could eat a million of them. Thank goodness a serving size is two, because I’d be devastated if I could only eat one each morning. Devastated. They really do taste just like a fruit gummy snack! They make nutrition taste good by combining the power of vitamins with a great-tasting gummy. They make it easier to get your daily vitamin fix because there are no hard to swallow pills. Another great thing about them is that you don’t need a glass of water to take them, which means you could pop ’em in your mouth first thing in the morning. Bonus: they help with morning breath. Just saying. Not that I ever have it. 😉
Vitafusion MultiVites are made in the USA and are made with natural flavors. Speaking of flavors, the container is a mixed selection of berry, peach, and orange. They have sour gummies as well. I haven’t tried those, but I know they’d be delicious! They only have 9 ingredients in addition to all of the vitamins, which include: A, B6, B12, C, and D3. They also have 100% of your daily folic acid needs, which is important to me since I want to be prepared for future pregnancies. The only thing you’d really have to supplement on your own would be calcium and iron. I wish that those were included, but there’s probably a reason they aren’t. I’m no scientist, ya know?
Vitafusion MultiVites and Little Critters gummy vitamins can be purchased at drug and grocery stores nationwide including: Costco, Walmart, CVS, and Target. More information can be found at gummyvites.com.
So that was my morning in a nutshell. I’m going to spend the rest of the day playing with M and trying to plan some type of workout for myself. I might just have to go to the gym to get something going. We’re so tired right now that it’s too hard to get motivated to workout at the house, which is why it’s been about three days since I’ve done anything other than chase a baby around. It’s like “ehhh but my bed is right there“. I wish I could say that I’m mentally tougher than that but, hey, we all have our weaknesses. 😉 Here’s another predicament: If I do make it to the gym, should I go to CrossFit or to Oxygen Fitness? Decisions, decisions.
