I can tell you one thing about postpartum life: finding things you want to wear is near impossible. It seems like everything in your closet is either too tight, too loose, or some odd combination of both. Suffice to say I’ve worn the same three legging and top combinations for the past three months. It was time to break the cycle.
When I was offered the chance to test out some new-to-me prAna apparel, I jumped at the chance. I knew that they made quality, environmentally conscious clothing but didn’t realize just how diverse their selection was. When it came to selecting pieces from the site, though, I went the casual-comfort route. I ended up choosing the Kara Jean and Garland Tee, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how the outfit turned out. It was the perfect outfit for heading downtown to the market and strolling around at the park.
These jeans are honestly the most comfortable pair I’ve found in a long time. The denim is soft, stretchy, and made with an organic cotton/polyester/spandex blend. I’m not exactly sure what that means, but I do know that it must be the perfect ratio based on how they feel. I also really liked that the fabric was thick enough to hold me together yet thin enough to keep me cool. Although it was really warm out, I wasn’t sweating my buns off. Total win.
The tee is also something I’ll reach for again and again. The gorgeous burnout fabric is made from a blend of recycled materials and organic cotton. Stylish and sustainable? They nailed it. I thought the fit of the tee and the scoop neck looked great, and I can see it being a universally flattering shirt.
Now, I’m not just going to sit here and discuss my outfit all night. Let’s talk about the one you could win. They have generously offered to give away the same two pieces I chose to one lucky reader.
