Happy Friday! I am just going to be frank and admit that I let this week get away from me. I didn’t work out very often and I didn’t plan anything for the ol’ blog. The school year is wrapping up, and I am way to exhausted in the afternoons. Ever heard of Spring Fever? It’s real and it’s extremely contagious amongst four and five-year-olds. Anyway, I figured today was as good a day as any to cop out and post a survey. I love talking about myself.
Name Your Favorite…
Person- Did you really think I’d say anyone but Maddux here? He’s too legit.
Color – Pink, because I love being cliché. Girls love pink, y’all.
Food – Pizza. Grilled Veggies. Cupcakes. Oh, was I only supposed to name one?
Smell – Maddux’s freshly washed head and anything cinnamon-related. After we have French toast, those two scents merge and my brain explodes.
Book – This is literally impossible to answer. I like ones that easily pass the time (hi, Emily Giffin) but I also like ones that make me think (hi, Kate Chopin).
Movie – These questions are surprisingly hard. I like to sing along to The Little Mermaid, though.
Time of day – Wine O’clock.
Day of the week – It’s a tie between Saturday and Sunday. I love weekends.
Thing to do when bored – Fill out surveys, bro. I don’t get bored that often. My head is in a dryer right now, so this is passing the time. Yep, I’m filling most of this out on my phone. Expect some grammar issues.
Celebrity – I was going to try to be funny and list an obscure celebrity, but I wasn’t clever enough to think of a funny one. Fail.
Drink – Yes, please. Oh, I mean Propel. I even like to awkwardly pose with it.
TV show – We’re watching House of Cards right now. I really like it, but it makes me feel extremely unintelligent. I’m constantly lost.
Fruit – Watermelon.
Vegetable – Grilled asparagus is pretty perfect.
Store/shop – Target. They sell everything, and I want to live there.
Workout – I’m really digging Shockwave lately. It’s over in thirty minutes, but it works. I’m down with any quick and efficient workouts.
Quote – “If it scares you, it might be a good thing to try.” That has been on my mind this year, and I’m doing my best to work on facing my fears.
Boy’s name – Maddux.
Girl’s name – Quit trying to jock my style. If I ever have a girl, I’ll let you know.
Potato chip flavor – Salt & Vinegar, but I eat so many that the sides of my mouth light on fire and that’s not good.
Meal of the day – Whatever I’m eating at the time. Pretty soon we’ll be heading to dinner, and dinner will be my favorite.
Ice cream flavor – Cheesecake from Bruster’s. It’s amazing.
Season – As a teacher, I feel like I am required to say summer. Hello, freedom and family time.
Dessert – I’ve really never met a dessert I didn’t like. I used to hate anything with nuts, but I don’t discriminate any longer.
Lifehack – I posted about my favorite life hacks recently. But Wednesday night, I made the easiest mac and cheese ever. Simmer 2 cups of noodles in 2 1/2 cups of milk for 20 minutes, then stir in a cup of cheese and whatever seasonings you please.
Question: Your turn! What’s your favorite SMELL? I feel like that was the most random question on the list, and I love it.
