I think I love Montana. No, I know I love this state. We’ve got a thing going on.
After three separate flights, Aubrie and I arrived at the Paws Up Resort. It might be the most insanely beautiful place I’ve ever stayed.
We are in one of the cabins, and I’m not sure I ever want to leave. We’re lucky enough to be here to work with Skinny Cow, and I really just want to stress how much work these girls put into making us as comfortable as possible.
There was thought put into every little detail. They even left us a bottle of wine, which means were best friends now.
After we checked in, we ate lunch on property. If all of the meals are as good as this one, we are in for one heck of a delicious weekend.
Between the resort’s meals and the treats spread all around our room, we are going to come back totally stuffed. It’s awesome.
This afternoon, we had some downtime to do whatever we wanted. We decided to go for a trail walk/run. That ended as quickly as it began. Maps are hard.
It worked out, though, because our new non-trail route looked like a scene out of “Hey Dude”. Throwback.
We looped around a few times near our cabin for a total of 3 miles. I finished in 25:11 and I’m pretty sure I barely survived. I mentioned this on Instagram, but is the elevation really that much different here? I mean, y’all. That was rough.
Right now we’re showering up and heading to dinner. I’m excited to see what’s on the menu! Vacations are all about food, right?
