Today is my mom’s birthday! We’ll be meeting up with my parents tonight to eat dinner and feed some goats. Don’t worry, it’s totally normal.
Instead of writing my usual Thursday Thoughts post today, I’m logging off of the computer (and phone!) for the rest of the evening. This will be a monumental task for me, but I want to make sure that I’m present today.
In honor of September 11th, I’m going to focus on my family even more than usual. If my boy wants 10,000 cups of chocolate milk, I’m going to make that happen. If he wants to play trains, I’m going to play the mess out of some trains. I might even not have a panic attack when he leaves them all over the house. We’ll see.
I’m closing comments on this because I don’t want you to waste your time here. Go do something awesome with the people you love (like drinking chocolate milk and playing trains, obviously). Put some positivity out there in the world. Like, right now. GO.
