I like reading other people’s “hour by hour” posts, so I decided to do my own. I ran in to several small problems, though.
1.) I forgot to start until 9 am. Oh well, y’all didn’t miss much.
2.) I realized it’s really hard to remember to keep doing it every single hour.
3.) I’m not that interesting. I forged ahead anyway.
9:00– Ryne made breakfast and I magically transported us back to Halloween. He considered himself a master chef when it comes to French toast. He buys special bread and everything. It’s hilarious.
10:00- The rule is you take a picture of whatever you’re doing each hour on the dot. Hopefully this will be the first and last time I have to post a picture of myself brushing my teeth on here. It’s not a good look.
11:00- Maddux fell asleep in the car and we had to wake him up to take him into Sunday school. I know he was mad because he didn’t even want to play on the awesome squishy castle thing.
12:00- He fell asleep in the car again on the way home, but not before giving us the stink eye. He holds grudges with the best of them. Seriously, though, I feel bad we screwed up his nap.
1:00- I slaved away making Ryne green bean casserole and then heated up a wrap for myself. Kidding. Well, about the slaving away. I did eat a wrap. I love these things, and I get really excited when Costco has them. I don’t think they are meant to be hot, but whatever.
2:00- Maddux finally went down for an official nap, so I headed to the mall to do important things like drink iced coffee and ask the women in Sephora to make me look presentable. I left with some samples and new mascara.
3:00- I texted Ryne to see if I should buy this. I did. Then later my aunt told me it looked like a cow dress. I come from a really loving family.
4:00- When I got home, it was ridiculously nice outside. I wanted to take Maddux for a walk, but Ryne told me he was still asleep. Bummer.
5:00- We ate an early dinner at my Memaw and Pop Pop’s. I say early, but we always eat Sunday dinner at 5. Maddux and I pretty much ate chocolate pie and egg custard for dinner.
6:00- We took a play break with my dad. That playroom used to look enormous when I was little. It’s so weird how different things look when you’re “grown”.
7:00– After we got home, Maddux took up residence on my head. At least one of us was comfortable. This lasted for about another thirty minutes before we put him to bed.
8:00- Maddux had a hard time going to bed, so we skipped a workout for fear of keeping him up. Home gyms are nice, but it kind of sucks when they are close to the baby’s room. I’m currently watching the Beatles special in bed instead.
I probably shouldn’t have even posted this, but I mean, I took all the pictures so I decided to just commit to it. It was too late to back out at that point, ya know? I’m embarrassed that I did this on a day where nothing happened, but that’s 99% of my days anyway. I apologize for rotting your brain, and I also promise I’ll be working out tomorrow. Maybe.
