This weekend FLEW by. I feel like I didn’t get much “housework” done, but I don’t even care. I had fun stuff to do!
I knew this weekend was going to be a good one after Saturday morning’s breakfast. I didn’t have any vegetables for my eggs, so I dumped in some of my Pop Pop’s veggie soup. OMG, delicious. Of course, I had an unpictured coffee the size of the Atlantic as well. Can’t get enough.
After breakfast, Logan came over to get ready for our ZOOMA Florida kick off training run. (If you participated, make sure you share on the ZOOMA Facebook page!) We made Ryne take our picture before we left. He loves being the designated photographer. 😉 He is getting really good at taking pictures while holding Maddux.
The goodies we shared with the group:
Maddux even got in on the Muscle Milk action. #BeastModeBaby for life.
I didn’t manage to snag any pictures of anyone actually running, but I did take a few of the scenery. Actually, that’s a lie. I got a really blurry picture of our friend Nicole’s butt. I don’t have the best aim when I’m running. I took almost all of the “scenery” pictures on our one mile walk to our running route.
This pink house is the only action shot I was able to take the entire run. I must have slowed down a bunch by this point. But seriously, I want this house. I just feel like I’d need bleach blonde hair, a boob job, and a pink Corvette to live there.
After our run, I didn’t shower. Surprise, surprise. I just headed straight down to the Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee with Maddux. My parents were down there and wanted to show him off.
Check my mom out snaggin’ some of my boiled peanuts. You can never have enough nuts. (I am the TWSS queen.)
OH MY GOSH, PUPPIES.
After my parents wouldn’t let me take a puppy home, I went home and finished baking a cake for Ryne’s Dad’s birthday. Oreo cake with Oreo buttercream. Yeah.
While I practiced my baking skills, Maddux practiced scooting around. He is getting so big!
I’m seriously lacking in pictures from the rest of the weekend. I didn’t take any at the birthday party or Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon I went to my first Piloxing class. I kinda loved it. I don’t know if I can justify paying to continue taking them, though. Bummer. I was busting some serious moves in class. I know they’ll miss me. (Yeah, right.) Sunday night Maddux showed off his new moves by holding his bottle all by himself. Seriously, kid, stop turning into an adult.
My dad showed off the pumpkin he carved for Maddux while we were over there. Isn’t it cute? Too bad it’s not a Gamecock pumpkin!
Last, but not least, last night I randomly selected the winners of the Chickbands giveaway! Tara, Amanda N., and Allee, please email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) to claim your bands!
How was YOUR weekend? Did you do anything Halloween/Fall related?
