Another Tuesday is in the books, folks. This morning I curled my dirty hair and just walked around pretending to have my act together. I mentioned being tired yesterday and I still haven’t really caught up in the sleep department.
I had big plans for a few detailed vacation recaps, but then I realized that’s not my style. I tend to take the “I’m lazy, I mean, less is more” approach to discussing trips. I do think I captured a ton of cute pictures, though, so I’ll just slap a million of those in there and maybe even discuss a few of them. Works for me.
The best part of this vacation was having another family to hang out with at the parks. Thanks to Maddy and Chris for letting us tag along! I would also like to shout out to our toddlers for refusing to smile.
This would be Ryne riding Wedgy Mountain. Sure, that’s not technically the name. But let’s be real here, that’s the Blizzard Beach souvenir you’re going to walk away sporting.
For once, I almost got him to smile directly at the camera. Excuse my hair, y’all. Humidity is my mortal enemy.
I just want to say what we’re all thinking: people only take vacations in order to eat hotel French toast with whipped butter and globs of sugary syrup.
Is a beer flight ever a bad idea? Epcot, you’re my favorite place in the entire universe. I miss you already.
Looking for Nemo is serious business. Unfortunately, there were only ugly fish in this tank.
We drank grown up slushies in France. I’m very cultured now.
I don’t think the other parents thought it was funny when my toddler and I kept talking about the animals’ butts.
I almost cried during the Lion King. So many emotions.
Disney World swag? Nailed it.
This picture screams, “My parents are suckers.”
“WIDE HORSIES! WIIIIIIDE HORRRRSIEEESSS!
I’m glad my mom got to come, but she isn’t all that helpful when it comes to baby wrangling.
He gave Stitch one treat, then Stitch tried to take them all. Give an inch and they take a mile, kid.
There are no words. Well, yeah there are: pimpin’ ain’t easy.
Smiling at the camera. On Dumbo. My life is complete.
I’m not trying to brag, but I totally won against a two-year-old.
We got to see Katy while we were at the Magic Kindgom, but Maddux was more excited to meet her daughter. I just can’t.
I really wish I had more time to share all the awesome details of the trip. Maybe later? There were a few highlights that I wanted to share like specific restaurants we loved and the best toddler napping spots. And seriously, you don’t realize how important cool, quiet areas are going to be in Disney until you have a child who needs to conk out for an hour or two. Until then, this photo dump will have to suffice.
I hope y’all have a great night! I have a pretty busy day tomorrow, so I doubt I’ll get around to posting my typical Wednesday workout. Kind of bummed about that. I might have to just check in later in the week, so I guess this is see ya when I see ya. 🙂
