This is the first time I’ve gotten to sit down at the computer all day. I forgot what having a schedule was like. It’s rough and I don’t like it. Anyway, it’s Monday so that means I get to post pictures of the weekend for posterity’s sake. Oh, memories. I feel like a lot of stuff and nothing at all happened this weekend. I realize that probably only makes sense to me. Instead of a play-by-play, let’s play a game called “one sentence per picture”. That’s not really a game, but it is an excuse for me to write less.
Aviators make me feel like I’m a cop, but they make me look like a bug.
My child came home from school covered in orange food coloring, so I guess it was a good day.
After a quick change of clothes, he drenched himself in cheese dip and salsa.
I hope heaven has buffalo sauce and sour cream.
Because one potato-based side is never enough.
It seemed like a good idea at the time.
I’ll take another round of icing, please.
This weekend went by too quickly, y’all. We went to Clemson Saturday to move my cousin into her dorm room, we went swimming and ate cake for dinner Sunday because we’re the best parents ever, and I once again skipped all my workouts. It’s cool. It happens. That being said, I did work out tonight. I did a few sprints and a barbell complex. I spent maybe 20 minutes in the gym. At this point, I need to just get back into the habit of working out. The fact that I did anything at all after spending the day in my classroom is a good start. Every little bit counts, right? Tomorrow is the first day for the kids, so I was basically running around like a madwoman. I AM FREAKING OUT. 20 kids who’ve never really been to school before will walk into my room at 7:30 am. I mean, what could go wrong? 😉 Tomorrow will be the real test. If I can get a workout in after all of that, I know I’ll be able to get back on track. Wish me luck?
