How is it already Wednesday again? I feel like the weeks have been going by so quickly lately. Tomorrow the baby will be 3 weeks old. That is crazy to me! Anyway, this is the first week that I’ve actually been able to truly post something for each of the categories in Fun, Food, and Fitness! Two waffles: one with peanut butter and white chocolate chips and one with syrup. Sometimes you just need syrup. Served up with a side of fruit!
A baked potato and an egg with black beans and Harvarti. I really wanted salsa, but I don’t think the baby would be on board with that. I had ketchup instead.
Greek salad: lettuce, banana peppers, tomatoes, feta cheese, olives, mushrooms, and probably some other stuff in there. We took a bottle with us to Mellow Mushroom, so I wasn’t scared to finally eat come veggies!
Cheese calzone. Well, half of one. Ryne ate the other half and I stared at him wishing I hadn’t given it away.
My first postpartum “jog”! It was really more of a walk with a few jogging intervals, but it felt good to move a little quicker for once. I hope I can keep it up! I’ll probably walk today, just to take it easy. I don’t want to rush back into running every day.
The past few days have been pretty exciting. We’ve been getting out of the house and doing “normal” things. Yesterday was our first dinner out with the baby in tow. (And we didn’t panic! So I think that’s a win.) It is interesting to be going out to eat again. We’ll be back to the old arguments of where to eat pretty soon. Last night I actually just picked a place, which is pretty close to a miracle.
Right now I’m going to try to go get some napping in while I can! Napping is my only real objective for the entire day. We’ve had a few long nights recently! Hope y’all have a great Wednesday. What do you have planned for today?
